The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in semiconductor processes and a passion for engineering, with experience in equipment start-up, process optimization, and troubleshooting. This role involves supporting the operational readiness of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and ensuring that all processes meet quality and performance standards.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the start-up and commissioning of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.- Assist in the development and implementation of start-up plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics.- Conduct performance evaluations and technical assessments of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with standards.- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during the start-up phase, applying root cause analysis techniques.- Monitor process performance and contribute to process optimization efforts to enhance productivity and quality.- Maintain comprehensive documentation of start-up processes, including reports on equipment performance, issues encountered, and resolutions.- Provide training and support to junior engineers and operators on new equipment and processes.- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in semiconductor technology to identify opportunities for process improvements.Skills and Knowledge:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.- 2-4 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment start-up, or related fields.- Strong understanding of semiconductor processes, equipment, and industry standards.- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with relevant software tools.- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training.
