Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Neubiberg, Germany invites applications for a Staff Engineer Digital Design to shape next‑gen non‑volatile memory IP for automotive applications. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive robust digital solutions and safety‑critical design integrity.

The role requires a degree in a relevant engineering field, 4+ years of digital design experience, strong HDL proficiency, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in defining and implementing digital circuits and functionalities.
• Experience with the digital design flow, including RTL and gate-level simulation, linting, logic synthesis, STA, UPF (low-power design), and DfT.
• Proficiency in HDL such as SystemVerilog or VHDL; programming/scripting in Perl or Python; English fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and/or review subblocks of non-volatile memories (NVM).
• Contribute to the specification and definition of the microarchitecture of non-volatile memories for automotive applications.
• Ensure that the digital design meets the requirements regarding functional safety and security.
• Drive technical decisions for your functional area and execute the implementation.
• Collaborate closely with hard macro designers, verification engineers, digital design engineers, and firmware engineers to deliver thoroughly verified and robust IP solutions.
• Create innovative architectures using the latest design techniques and tools.
• Run logic synthesis and perform design verification activities, including linting, CDC analysis, and RDC analysis.
