Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics sucht einen Specialist Air Freight, der Auftragserfassung, Versandregistrierung und Zollabwicklung übernimmt. Sie unterstützen Kunden und Agenten, erstellen Angebote und überwachen Fristen. Ebenso dokumentieren Sie Abläufe und verbessern Prozesse.

Idealerweise verfügen Sie über ca. 2 Jahre Erfahrung in Luftfracht, gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, Selbstständigkeit und Teamfähigkeit.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2 Jahre Erfahrung in Luftfrachtabwicklung in internationaler Umgebung.
• Tiefe Kenntnisse von Zollverfahren und Luftfrachtvorschriften.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.
• Selbstständige Arbeitsweise mit hoher Detailgenauigkeit und Prioritätenmanagement.
• Routinierte Nutzung von Frachtabwicklung-Software sowie MS Office.

Übersicht

As Specialist Air Freight you will handle order processing and shipment registration, while organizing freight and customs handling activities, including export control. You will prepare and monitor offers, ensure accurate customer billing, and manage special orders as well as complaints. You will support and advise customers and agents, prepare delivery bills and customs documentation, and monitor deadlines to secure timely execution. In addition, you will maintain performance statistics, document and optimize workflows, support supervisors in various projects, and manage documentation, filing, and general administrative tasks.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Qualifikationen

• Ideally 2 years of experience in air freight forwarding in an international environment
• In‑depth knowledge of customs procedures and air transport regulations
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work independently, with strong attention to detail and the capacity to manage priorities in a dynamic setting
• Comfortable using freight forwarding software and the MS Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Knowledge of CargoWise software would be an advantage
