Thinkproject is seeking a Solution Specialist to support clients in their digitalization journey for construction projects.

You will configure and implement tailored technical solutions, test and document processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in German and English.
• Databases: SQL Server, Oracle.
• Scripting with PowerShell.
• Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, IIS, COM+.
• Ability to understand and configure software solutions.
• Detail-oriented with documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Application configuration and installation: Configure the application (data model, modules, settings) and manage the installation process to align with customer requirements.
• Implementation of technical solutions: Implement tailored technical solutions according to customer needs and specifications.
• Testing and quality assurance: Test the customized solutions from a user’s perspective and document testing procedures.
• Issue tracking and solution improvement: Track, document, and manage customer issues, collaborate with development teams for quick solutions, and improve solution quality.
• Support in solution design: Collaborate with the Consultant to design customized technical solutions for customer requirements.
• Solution modification and troubleshooting: Make changes and extensions to implemented solutions addressing issues.
• Technical advisor for consulting teams: Provide technical expertise to support Consulting teams.
• Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for the project.
• Complex support resolution: Resolve complex support requests with teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with (pre)sales, Technical Consultants, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery.

What your day will look like

The Solution Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and project success by supporting clients in their digitalization journey for construction projects. They contribute to the development and implementation of technical solutions that meet customer requirements and drive efficiency and productivity.

Main Responsibilities

• Application configuration and installation: Configure the application (data model, modules, settings, etc.) and manage the installation process to ensure it aligns with customer requirements.
• Implementation of technical solutions: Implement tailored technical solutions according to customer needs and specifications.
• Testing and quality assurance: Test the customized solutions from a user’s perspective and document the testing procedures to ensure thorough quality assurance.
• Issue tracking and solution improvement: Track, document, and manage customer issues, work with development teams to find quick solutions, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of the solution’s quality.
• Support in solution design: Collaborate with the responsible Consultant to help design customized technical solutions that meet specific customer requirements.
• Solution modification and troubleshooting: Collaborate with the responsible Consultant to make necessary changes and extensions to the implemented solutions, addressing any issues that arise during the project.
• Technical advisor for consulting teams: Act as a key technical resource for the Consulting teams, providing valuable insights and expertise to support their work.
• Technical documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation that supports the project and ensures a clear record of processes and decisions.
• Complex support resolution: Handle and resolve complex support requests in collaboration with the support teams, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams across the organization, including (pre)sales, Technical Consultants, and product teams, to provide technical expertise and ensure seamless project delivery

What you need to fulfill the role

• Fluent German and English Language skills are mandatory.
• Prerequisite:

• Aptitude and ability to understand and configure software solutions.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to document procedures accurately.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the field of solution implementation and support.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with construction industry processes and terminology is a plus.
