GoodWe is seeking a Solution Representative to join our Overseas Technical Solutions team, focusing on ground PV and energy storage in Europe and ANZ. The role involves translating client needs into technical solutions, leading proposal development, and ensuring compliance with regional standards.

You will collaborate with regional accounts, design tailored systems, and support sales with technical validation, training, and documentation updates.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical solution design for ground PV, energy storage, or renewable energy projects.
• Familiarity with local technical standards, grid codes, and certification requirements in Europe/ANZ (e.g., CE/VDE for Europe, Australian grid connection standards).
• Proficiency in CAD and PVsyst for design and simulation.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; German/French for Europe is a plus.

• Deliver solution-related training to internal teams and external partners, and update technical documentation based on market changes and product upgrades.

Job Summary

We are looking for a technical and customer - oriented Solution Representative (SR) to join our overseas team, focusing on the ground photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage business in Europe and the Australia - New Zealand (ANZ) region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating client needs into customized technical solutions, leading proposal development, and ensuring solutions comply with local standards to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Account Representatives (AR) to understand client requirements (e.g., power capacity, grid connection demands) and design tailored ground PV and energy storage solutions (including inverter selection, ESS integration, and electrical system design below 35kV).

Lead the development of technical proposals, bid responses, and solution presentations, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client expectations and local regulations (e.g., EN 50549 for Europe, AS/NZS 4777 for ANZ).

Conduct technical validation and optimization of solutions, coordinate with R&D teams to address technical gaps, and improve solution performance and cost - effectiveness.

Provide technical support during the sales cycle, including answering client technical inquiries, participating in technical negotiations, and supporting client site surveys.

Deliver solution - related training to internal teams (AR/FR) and external partners, and update technical documentation (e.g., solution manuals, design guidelines) based on market changes and product upgrades.

Track industry technical trends, new technologies (e.g., advanced energy storage systems) and local standard updates in Europe and ANZ, and provide technical insights for business strategy adjustment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3 years of working experience in technical solution design for ground PV, energy storage, or renewable energy projects, with a deep understanding of PV inverter and energy storage system technologies.

Familiarity with local technical standards, grid codes, and certification requirements in Europe and ANZ (e.g., CE/VDE for Europe, Australian grid connection standards), and experience in complying with these standards in solution design.

Proficiency in using technical tools such as CAD for electrical design and solution simulation software (e.g., PVsyst), and ability to analyze and optimize solution performance.

Excellent technical communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to clients and cross - functional teams.

Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in other local languages (e.g., German, French for Europe) is a plus.

Strong problem - solving ability, adaptability, and teamwork spirit, with the willingness to travel occasionally within the assigned region for client meetings or site visits.

Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HCIP in PV/energy storage, professional engineer certifications) are preferred.
