Jobtailor seeks an experienced Enterprise Architecture team lead to define target infrastructures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including AWS and Azure. You will drive modernization, architecture standards, and cost-optimized solutions while guiding cross-functional teams and delivering comprehensive runbooks and diagrams.

The role requires 12+ years in EA and leadership, strong networking and security awareness, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years in enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, and cloud solutions.

• Hands-on with hybrid/multi-cloud, AWS/Azure, on-premises data centers, virtualization, and containerized workloads (Kubernetes/Docker).
• Experience with enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, load balancers, VPC/VNet, routing, peering).
• Strong technical documentation including diagrams, data flows, runbooks, and implementation guides.

• Serve as Enterprise Architecture team lead, assigning and managing tasks, conducting daily stand-ups and status updates, preparing weekly consolidated reports, and updating the federal lead
• Define target infrastructure architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, networks, platforms, and enterprise systems
• Design and implement end-to-end technical solutions for scalability, resilience, performance, and cost optimization
• Lead infrastructure modernization, legacy-system evaluation, migration strategies, and technology adoption
• Engineer and deploy solutions across AWS/Azure, virtualization environments, on-premises data centers, and containerized workloads
• Architect and build LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall, load-balancer, and cloud-networking solutions
• Create architectural diagrams, data-flow diagrams, integration maps, logical/physical infrastructure designs, and solution blueprints
• Analyze and document system and application data flows
• Develop automation and code-based solutions using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
• Troubleshoot escalated technical issues across networking, cloud, systems, and application layers
• Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, integration patterns, and architectural standards
• Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and compliance frameworks
• Support capacity planning, resiliency, disaster recovery, and business continuity design
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, security, and application teams through design, build, deployment, and optimization
• Produce technical documentation, engineering procedures, operational runbooks, and implementation guides

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or Master's degree, with additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree
• 12+ years of relevant experience; 12+ years in enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, and cloud solutions
• 12+ years in a leadership or lead architect role
• Hands-on experience with hybrid/multi-cloud environments, AWS, Azure, on-premises data centers, virtualization, and containerized workloads such as Kubernetes/Docker
• Enterprise networking experience with LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewalls, load balancers, VPC/VNet, routing, and peering
• Experience leading infrastructure modernization, legacy migrations, and large-scale implementations
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation
• Technical documentation experience, including architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, integration maps, runbooks, and implementation guides
• Understanding of SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS frameworks
• Expertise in scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized architectures
• Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, cloud, systems, and application layers
• Experience with capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
• Desired/preferred certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Azure DevOps Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, ITIL Foundation or ITIL 4 Managing Professional, PMP or equivalent

Proficient in leading modernization efforts, technical documentation, and implementing automation solutions.
