Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to define long-term cloud blueprints and engineering standards. You will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable hybrid-cloud architectures, and manage VPCs, VNets, subnets, and connectivity.

You will automate provisioning with Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep/ARM, and Ansible while enforcing enterprise security and cost-optimization practices. Cross-functional collaboration is essential for DR, HA, and architectural reviews.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of cloud architecture, engineering, and operations experience.
• At least 4 years in a senior or lead Cloud Architect role.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Hands-on with Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Bicep/ARM, and Ansible.
• Strong cloud networking experience: VPCs, VNets, subnets, peering, firewalls, private links.

• Implement cloud security controls and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP).
• Optimize cloud cost and resource utilization with tagging, rightsizing, and savings plans.
• Set up monitoring and observability (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana).
• Support disaster recovery, high availability, backup/restore, failover, and DR testing.
• Collaborate with Network, Security, App Development, and Ops teams on projects and architecture reviews.
• Support cloud adoption and strategic technology roadmaps.

• Support cloud adoption, business growth, and proactive resolution of infrastructure challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 12+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience; additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree
• 12+ years of progressive experience in cloud architecture, engineering, and operations, including at least 4 years in a senior or lead Cloud Architect role
• Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale hybrid/multi-cloud environments using AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Expertise with Generative AI infrastructure, production-ready RAG pipelines, scalable vector databases, GPU/TPU compute clusters, Kubernetes/container orchestration, and LLM workload auto-scaling
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep/ARM, and Ansible
• Strong cloud networking experience, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, transit gateways, peering, private links, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, firewalls, security groups, WAF, and private API gateways
• Experience implementing enterprise security and compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI‑DSS, CMMC, and FedRAMP
• Experience with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Operations, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, and ELK/EFK stack
• Track record in cost optimization and disaster recovery/business continuity planning
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with cross‑functional teams
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
• Preferred: experience leading cloud adoption and strategic technology roadmaps
• Preferred: microservices architectures, modern APIs, secure private cloud networking, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies
• Preferred certifications include Azure Solutions Architect Expert, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, CKA/CKAD, and Azure Security Engineer Associate
