Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned AWS network engineer to design secure hybrid- and multi-cloud architectures for customers in Germany. You will build and operate routing, VPN, DNS, load balancing, and security systems while enforcing best practices such as Zero Trust and CIS/NIST standards.

Automate infrastructure with Terraform, Git, CI/CD, and modern scripting languages, and integrate network data with SIEM and monitoring tools.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of AWS network engineering and network security experience.
• Familiar with hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures and security requirements.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, BGP, DNS, VPN, NAT, load balancing, and segmentation.
• Hands-on with enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, AWS Network Firewall).
• Strong IaC, Terraform, YAML, Git, CI/CD, and scripting skills.
• Proficient in German and English communication.
• Experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, SASE, SD-WAN, or Kubernetes networking is advantageous.
• Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, CCSP or Terraform Associate are advantageous.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in AWS network engineering and network security
• Familiarity with hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures and their security requirements
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, routing, BGP, DNS, VPN, NAT, load balancing, and network segmentation
• Practical experience with enterprise firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, Cisco, or AWS Network Firewall
• Strong experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proficiency with Terraform, YAML, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern scripting languages
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
• Knowledge of Zero Trust, SASE, SD-WAN, or Kubernetes networking is a plus
• Familiarity with CIS, NIST, or ISO 27001 is advantageous
• Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CCSP, or Terraform Associate are advantageous
