Zusammenfassung

Hannover Re is seeking a Software Quality Engineer Test Automation to design, implement, and operate modern automated tests for our software products. You will collaborate with agile teams to ensure quality, stability, and maintainability from the outset, contributing test strategies and data management across platforms.

The role requires a degree in CS or related, several years in test automation, and proficiency with Playwright, Azure DevOps, and .NET/C#.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in test automation for software applications within agile development environments
• Strong expertise in test automation, ideally with Playwright, as well as Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git
• Good knowledge of .NET/C# and experience with modern web applications and test data management
• Business-fluent German and conversational English skills, enabling precise and audience-appropriate communication, including in an international environment
• An analytical and solution-oriented mindset, along with the ability to successfully drive quality initiatives across a diverse range of stakeholders

In this role, you will be responsible for building, further developing, and operating a modern test automation environment for our software products. Together with our agile development teams, you’ll ensure that the quality, stability, and maintainability of applications are integral parts of the development process from the very beginning.

You’ll work closely with software engineers, product owners, business analysts, and DevOps engineers, actively contributing your expertise in test strategies, test automation, and quality assurance to the development process.

You come equipped with
