Job summary

Tintschl AG in collaboration with AIRBUS is seeking a Software Engineer – Web Application Developer for Land C2 Solutions (m/f/d) to contribute to the development of advanced software for Command & Control (C2) systems.

You will design HMI, UI concepts and data models, build reusable components, and work in an Agile SCRUM team while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and test automation to ensure robust software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• Advanced knowledge of web application development technologies, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with package managers such as NPM or Yarn.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as Angular, Node.js, Material UI.
• Knowledge of Microservices, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs and WebSocket APIs.
• Experience with Git, Jira and Jenkins.
• Knowledge of automated testing and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH to join our team as Software Engineer – Web Application Developer for Land C2 Solutions (m/f/d) to contribute to the development of advanced software applications for Command & Control (C2) systems.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Design and develop Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), workflows and data models.
• Create reusable, well-tested and documented software components and modules.
• Develop modern, intuitive and efficient User Interface (UI) concepts.
• Collaborate within an Agile SCRUM team, contributing to software development and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and support CI/CD pipelines and development environments.
• Support software testing and test automation at different levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Technical Computer Science or a comparable field.
• Advanced knowledge of web application development technologies, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Hands‑on experience with package managers such as NPM or Yarn.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in an agile team.
