Orizon GmbH, based in Manching, seeks a Software Engineer for Simulation UI Systems to support our aerospace client Airbus Defence and Space. You will help define the software foundation for simulation control and training stations and create intuitive UI/UX concepts.

Proficiency in C++ and Qt/QML, solid software engineering practices, and multilingual communication are required. Several years in Informatics or Information Systems, plus experience in simulation, are advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable.
• Very good programming skills in C++ and Qt/QML.
• Fluent German and English languages.

• Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations and flight training debriefing stations.
• Define and design intuitive interfaces and UI/UX concepts.
• Design, develop, test and maintain software with C++ & Qt/QML.

• Analyze and debug issues and fix bugs.
• Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements.

Your Prospective Job:

For our renowned customer Airbus Defence and Space you are acting as Software Engineer (m/f/d) for Simulation UI Systems at the location Manching.

Your Responsibilities:

• Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations and flight training debriefing stations
• Define and design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and UI/UX concepts
• Design, develop, test and maintain software with C++ & Qt/QML by writing clean, efficient and maintainable code
• Follow software development best practices
• Ensure the code meets the defined coding standards
• Analyze and debug software issues, and fix bugs
• Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements
• Identify and address technical risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies
• Participate in planning, stand-up, review and retrospective meetings according to software development methodolgy
• Ensure the software system design and architecture is scalable, maintainable and can be integrated with other systems

Your Profile:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable
• Many years of professional experience in Informatics and Information Systems
• Experience in simulation is advantageous
• Very good skills in C++ and Tt/QML
• Fluent German and English skills spoken and witten
