We are currently looking for a highly motivated Software Engineer (M/F/D) to join our R&D team in Meiningen, Germany.

Principle duties and essential functions

1. Responsible for the design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of complex embedded software and firmware projects.
2. Software development for different microcontroller families (e.g., ARM) in C/C++.
3. Integration and testing of software components in the system environment and support of verification tests.
4. Full lifecycle application development.
5. Support of prototyping, production, and technical support.
6. Knowledge, skills, and experience required:

Qualifications:

• University degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or similar.
• Good knowledge in the following areas:

1. Embedded software development.
2. GNU toolchain and GIT.
3. Embedded Linux.
4. Understanding of schematics, communication busses, digital systems, and instrumentation.
5. Knowledge of OTDR technology would be an advantage.
