Siemens is seeking a Software Developer to join the Simatic AX project in Erlangen. You will design and build scalable OPC UA components for IT/OT integration, driving cross-vendor communication and production-ready code.

You will work in an agile team, apply modern C++, and leverage AI-assisted coding to improve efficiency and quality. Strong collaboration and continuous improvement in CI/CD are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• First years of professional experience in software development within agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).
• C++ Expert: Strong proficiency in Modern C++ and a solid understanding of compiler toolchains.
• OPC UA Specialist: Solid knowledge of the OPC UA standard and its application in industrial environments.
• Modern Tooling: Hands-on experience with CMake, Git, and automating workflows via CI/CD platforms.
• Tech-Forward: Openness to and experience with AI-supported coding / agentic coding tools.
