EagleBurgmann Germany GmbH & Co. KG in Wolfratshausen is seeking a Software & AI Solution Engineer (f/m/d). You will design, develop, and integrate software and AI-enabled solutions to support Engineering, Operations, and manufacturing processes.

You will collaborate with global teams, translate business needs into technical specifications, apply Azure cloud services, and contribute to cloud-native deployments, automation, and AI-driven improvements within an industrial setting.

• 3-8 years of experience in software development, solution engineering, or software-based digitalization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain business-critical software applications and AI-enabled solutions that support Engineering, Operations, and other business functions
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, Engineering, Operations, IT, and the AI & Innovation team to identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, and AI adoption
• Translate business requirements into solution concepts, user stories, technical specifications, and AI use cases
• Modernize and enhance existing applications and platforms by leveraging cloud technologies, automation, and AI capabilities where appropriate
• Ensure software and AI solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, user-centric, and aligned with enterprise architecture and software standards
• Contribute throughout the entire solution lifecycle, from concept and design through development, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement
• Develop and support integrations between enterprise systems, including ERP, PLM, engineering tools, manufacturing systems, cloud services, and AI platforms
• Utilize Azure cloud services and AI technologies to deliver innovative solutions and support the deployment and operation of cloud-native applications
• Implement AI-assisted automation, intelligent workflows, and decision-support capabilities in collaboration with AI specialists and business stakeholders
• Work closely with global software development teams to ensure the successful delivery of software and AI solutions and that business requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering Informatics, Mechanical Engineering with a software focus, or a related field
• 3-8 years of experience in software development, solution engineering, or software-based digitalization initiatives
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Experience delivering enterprise software solutions and system integrations.
• Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments is advantageous
• Strong software engineering background with practical experience in C#, .NET, Python, SQL, web technologies, API-based integrations, and modern application development
• Solid understanding of enterprise software architecture, database technologies, application security, and cloud-native design principles
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices
• Experience developing, integrating, or deploying AI-enabled applications and automation solutions, with familiarity in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI services, or AI development frameworks considered highly desirable
• Familiarity with graph databases is considered an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify process improvement, automation, and AI application opportunities within engineering and operational workflows
