Job summary

TrioTech Recruitment seeks an experienced Site Manager in Germany focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and photovoltaics (PV). Hybrid/home-office with travel to sites is offered for this permanent, full-time role.

Fluent German is essential; good English is a strong plus. You’ll lead construction phases, coordinate crews, manage budgets and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in construction or renewable energy projects.
• Knowledge of German technical building regulations and safety standards.
• Hands-on experience with tendering and procurement processes.
• Strong organisational skills to manage complex sites.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication; driving licence and travel willingness.

Responsibilities

• Support tendering, procurement and contractor selection.
• Plan and manage all site activities through construction.
• Oversee work execution and ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate on-site personnel, technical teams and logistics.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules and take corrective action.
• Prepare sites and coordinate delivery & installation of BESS/PV components.

Job description

I'm working with a leading renewable energy EPC specialist in Germany to find an experienced Site Manager focused on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Photovoltaics (PV) - helping build the energy infrastructure of the future.

• Location: Hasse - hybrid / home-office based with site travel
• Role: Permanent, full-time (40 hrs/week)

Languages: Fluent German essential, good English is a strong plus

Your key responsibilities:

• Support tendering, procurement and contractor selection
• Plan and manage all site activities throughout the construction phase
• Oversee work execution and ensure full compliance with building regulations, health & safety standards
• Coordinate on-site personnel, technical teams and logistics
• Monitor project budgets, schedules and take corrective action where required
• Prepare sites and coordinate delivery & installation of BESS/PV components

What you'll bring:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience in construction or renewable energy projects
• Solid knowledge of German technical building regulations and safety standards
• Hands-on experience with tendering and procurement processes
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage complex sites
• Confident using Microsoft 365; experience with RIB iTWO or similar tools desirable
• Self-motivated, structured approach with excellent communication skills
• Category B driving licence + willingness to travel
