We’re partnering with a well‑established international manufacturer that is investing in its engineering operations and production technology. This opportunity combines technical expertise with team leadership, giving you ownership of electrical maintenance, automation projects, and continuous improvement across a highly automated production environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the electrical engineering team during your shift, including planning workloads and supporting day‑to‑day operations
- Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work across production machinery, technical equipment and building services
- Manage external contractors and suppliers within the electrical engineering department
- Drive automation and process improvement projects across manufacturing and packaging lines
- Support the implementation of process visualisation and industrial vision systems for quality assurance
- Administer electrical control systems and engineering software including WSCAD, AutoCAD, MES (Legato), PLC and industrial communication networks
- Create and update electrical schematics using WSCAD
- Procure electrical components and materials
- Ensure the safe, reliable operation of all production equipment and electrical installations
What We’re Looking For
- Completed training as an Industrial Electrician, Electronics Technician, or equivalent, with further qualification as a Master Electrician (Meister) or State‑Certified Technician (Techniker)
- Authorisation to switch electrical installations up to 1,000V
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within an industrial manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Siemens S5, S7, WinCC and LOGO! is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, maintenance and electrical systems
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and leadership skills
- Independent, reliable and proactive approach to work
- Very good German and willingness to work a 2‑shift pattern with occasional weekend work
