On behalf of our client, a medium-sized building and energy technology company in Cologne, we are looking for you to join us as a Electrical Engineering Project Manager (m/f/d) as part of a direct placement.

• You will be responsible for the independent planning and professional site management of challenging projects in accordance with all relevant service phases of the HOAI
• You will also be responsible for drawing up technical concepts and developing solutions ready for implementation within a cross-trade project team
• Furthermore, you will oversee the overall electrical engineering planning, with a focus on high-voltage and telecommunications systems, for a wide range of construction projects
• Your responsibilities will also include the goal-oriented management and motivation of a cross-trade project team comprising 5 to 8 people
• As part of your role, you will facilitate close coordination with external specialist planners and all involved trade partners throughout all construction phases
• Furthermore, you will support comprehensive quality control and schedule monitoring to ensure successful and timely project delivery
• Finally, you will be responsible for providing expert advice to clients on technical issues relating to modern electrical engineering

• You have successfully completed a degree in Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) or further training as a technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering you also have at least 3 years’ professional experience in a design office, as well as in-depth experience in HOAI service phases 1 to 8
• You are distinguished by your confident use of standard building services planning software such as AutoCAD or Revit, as well as in-depth knowledge of high-voltage and telecommunications engineering
• You have native-level written and spoken German, ensuring you can always communicate confidently in day-to-day work
• Furthermore, you possess a high level of leadership skills, assertiveness and organisational skills to reliably manage the entire project workflow
• Finally, you are a strong communicator and leader, and you always work in a goal-oriented, structured manner and with complete autonomy across all projects
• To fulfil this position of responsibility, in addition to your technical expertise, you must also hold a valid work permit and be permanently resident in Germany
