Optimus Search is partnering with a well-established international manufacturer in Berlin to recruit an experienced Industrial Electrician/Mechatronics Technician. You will join a collaborative maintenance team responsible for keeping highly automated production lines running safely and efficiently.

The role requires expertise in Siemens S7 / TIA Portal and WSCAD, with a strong focus on electrical integration, testing, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as Industrial Electrician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician or equivalent.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Siemens S7 / TIA Portal.
• Good understanding of automation tech, drive systems and electrical schematics.
• Experience with metal detection systems is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Assemble, install and wire mechanical and electrical components.
• Test, analyse and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, testing and safety inspections.
• Install, commission and maintain industrial machinery and electrical installations.
• Create electrical schematics using WSCAD.
• Work with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal controlled systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and quality checks.
• Document completed work in shift logs.
• Support safe, reliable operation of production facilities.

You'll join a collaborative maintenance department where you'll play a key role in keeping highly automated production lines running safely and efficiently.

Your Responsibilities

• Assemble, install and wire mechanical and electrical components
• Test, analyse and troubleshoot electrical systems and production equipment
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs, functional testing and safety inspections
• Install, commission and maintain industrial machinery and electrical installations
• Create and maintain electrical schematics using WSCAD
• Work with Siemens S7 / TIA Portal PLC controlled systems
• Complete preventative maintenance and quality assurance checks
• Document completed work within shift logs
• Help ensure the safe, reliable operation of modern production facilities

What We're Looking For

• Completed training as an Industrial Electrician, Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent
• Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Siemens S7 / TIA Portal
• Good understanding of automation technology, drive systems and electrical schematics
• Experience with metal detection systems is advantageous
• Very good German and good English
• Reliable, proactive and comfortable working in a 3-shift operation with occasional weekend work
