Zusammenfassung

Carnival Maritime seeks an experienced flooring maintenance technician to perform tile, carpet, vinyl and decorative surface repairs onboard ships departing from Hamburg. You will prepare materials, follow planning, and ensure workmanship meets quality standards while adhering to HESS safety policies.

The role requires at least 2 years in flooring maintenance, ability to work independently, and good English communication. Flexible hours and corporate benefits accompany this position.

Qualifikationen

• Must have completed secondary education; technical tiling/flooring training is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of flooring.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.

• Prepare and verify materials required for maintenance together with the technical storekeeper.
• Follow daily work planning and instructions from the Hotel Maintenance Officer.
• Maintain with company procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in clean and proper condition.
• Work in guest areas without disrupting operations.
• Support other maintenance activities when required.
• Actively contribute to a safe working environment and follow HESS policies.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile

Education:

• Completed secondary/ comprehensive school.
• Technical training in tiling, flooring, or similar field is an advantage.

Professional & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience in maintenance and repair of flooring and related materials.

Professional Skills:

• Knowledge of repair techniques for flooring (tiles, carpets, vinyl, etc.)
• Understanding of materials and tools used in flooring works.
• Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions.
• Basic computer skills are an advantage.
