Sunship Electronic Services GmbH & Co. KG in Emden seeks a field service engineer to install and maintain maritime navigation and communication systems. The successful candidate will work under limited supervision, handle radio inspections, and maintain service documentation.

Qualifications include 3+ years of relevant experience, strong English communication skills, and a preferred GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License. The company offers a flexible working environment, 30 vacation days, and additional perks including a company car and health support.

Formación

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
• 3+ years of experience installing and maintaining maritime systems is required.
• GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform radio inspections according to IMO and Class authorities.
• Complete company-required service reports and documentation.

Your responsibilities:

• installation, repair and maintenance of maritime navigation and communication systems
• as a field service engineer you will be expected to work under limited supervision, have strong problem-solving skills, interpret schematics, use manufacturer´s manual´s and use your knowledge of electronic circuit theory
• performs radio inspections according to IMO and Class authorities
• complete company required service report and documentation
• dependable/ reliable and willing to work a flexible schedule including overtime

Your qualifications:

• strong written and verbal English communication skills
• GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License is preferred
• 3+ years experience in installing and maintaining maritime navigation and communication technologies
• ability to travel worldwide
• hold Valid Passport and Driver´s license
