Job summary

ROPTEC GmbH specializes in camera-based production optimization for large-scale plants in the paper, film and tissue industries. You will support and implement machine vision projects, perform fault analysis and on-site repairs, and have the opportunity to coordinate large-scale computer projects.

A technical vocational background is expected, with good English and a valid driving license. German language skills are not mandatory, and travel across Europe is part of the role.

Qualifications

• Completed technical vocational training in electronics, mechatronics, telecommunications or automation technology.
• Good command of English for global customers and plants.
• Driver's license class B required for on-site assignments.

Your Tasks

• Support and implementation of machine vision projects in large-scale plants (paper manufacturing, film, tissue)
• Systematic fault analysis, troubleshooting and repair – via remote service and directly on-site at the customer
• Option to coordinate and lead large-scale computer projects

Your Profile

• Completed technical vocational training, e.g. in electronics, mechatronics, telecommunications or automation technology
• A good mix of hands-on work and computer-based tasks
• Good command of English – our customers and plants are located around the world
• Driving license class B (car) – required for your on-site assignments
• German language skills are desirable but not mandatory
• Technician degree and experience in industrial machine vision are welcome, but not a must
• Open personality, initiative and a sense of responsibility
