Vestas is seeking a Service Technician to perform on-site servicing and maintenance of wind turbines, operating in a team environment across Germany. The role emphasizes hands-on electrical/mechanical work, fault diagnosis, and turbine performance improvements.

Candidates should have vocational training in relevant fields, be willing to travel weekly within Germany, and bring SAP and Windows/iOS familiarity along with German and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Vocational training required in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy and building technology.
• Willingness to travel within Germany during the week.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and SAP experience.
• Comfortable working at heights and safety.
• Valid Class B driver's license; BE support may be available.
• Very good German and good English skills.

Responsabilités

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, industrial mechatronics or energy and building technology
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver's licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
