Vestas in Nürnberg is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) to ensure wind turbines operate reliably through on-site servicing and maintenance. You'll work as part of a two-person team, diagnose faults, and implement modifications to improve performance.

You should have vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or energy/building technology, be willing to travel within Germany, be familiar with Microsoft and iOS apps, and ideally SAP.

Qualifikationen

• Vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy/building tech or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel within Germany during the week; back home on weekends.
• Familiar with Microsoft and iOS apps; SAP experience preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights and safe above ground level.
• Valid Class B driver's license (Class BE support possible).
• Very good German and good English skills.

• You ensure our wind turbines operate reliably by carrying out on-site servicing and maintenance
• Working as part of a team (at least two people), you repair turbines and resolve faults
• You analyse electronic and mechanical error messages and accurately identify the cause
• You carry out modification measures to enhance turbine performance
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Your profile – what makes you a great fit!

• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, energy and building technology or have a comparable technical qualification
• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a valid Class B driver’s licence (financial support for Class BE may be available)
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
