Online Birds GmbH seeks a proactive Project Manager for SEO, GEO and AI Search initiatives with strong client-facing skills. You will lead data-driven strategies for renowned hotels, coordinating with developers and agencies to maximize organic visibility and performance.

You will stay ahead of AI-driven search trends, apply GEO concepts and optimize content, technical SEO and UX to improve rankings and traffic. Hybrid work options offered in Germany.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Media or related field, or hospitality industry experience.
• 2–3 years project management experience in digital marketing projects.
• Strong SEO expertise across on-page, off-page, technical SEO and UX optimization.
• Interest in AI tools, GEO, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven mindset with KPI-driven optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage SEO, GEO and AI Search optimization projects as lead for clients and internal teams.
• Develop data-driven SEO and GEO strategies for hotels across star segments.
• Oversee keyword research, technical optimization, content and site structure recommendations.
• Analyze KPIs, identify optimization opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Stay updated on AI Search, GEO, LLM trends and integrate into client strategies.
• Prepare and present results clearly in internal and client meetings.
• Collaborate with developers, creative teams, web agencies and hotel clients.
• Contribute new ideas and help shape future SEO, GEO and AI solutions.

Job description

• Project Management & Client Ownership: You independently manage SEO, GEO, and AI Search Optimization projects and serve as the main point of contact for our clients as well as the internal lead for ongoing projects.
• SEO, GEO & Content Strategies: You develop data-driven SEO and GEO strategies for renowned hotels in the 3-star to 5-star superior segment, with a focus on organic visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search systems.
• Operational Execution & Optimization: You independently oversee SEO initiatives, ranging from keyword research and technical optimization to content and site structure recommendations.
• Analysis & Performance Monitoring: You analyze relevant KPIs, identify optimization opportunities, and derive data-driven recommendations to improve rankings, visibility, and organic traffic.
• AI-Powered Search Optimization & GEO: You actively stay on top of developments in AI Search, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and Large Language Models, and develop strategies to ensure our clients remain visible in AI-driven search results.
• Reporting & Client Communication: You prepare and present results in a clear and compelling manner, confidently communicating insights in both internal and external meetings.
• Innovation & Trend Awareness: You identify emerging digital trends early and test innovative approaches, tools, and AI-driven workflows for our SEO and GEO projects.
• Teamwork & Cross-Functional Collaboration: You work closely with developers, creative teams, web agencies, and our hotel clients.
• Co-Creation & Continuous Development: You proactively contribute new ideas and help shape the future of our SEO, GEO, and AI Search services—from smart tools and AI solutions to innovative products and processes.

Your Profile

• Education: You hold a degree or vocational qualification in Business Administration, Media, or a related field. Alternatively, you have gained experience in the hospitality industry, for example through a dual-study program or professional training.
• Project Management Experience: You have at least 2–3 years of experience in project management, are familiar with the processes of digital marketing projects, and ideally can demonstrate measurable success from previous SEO initiatives.
• SEO Expertise: You possess solid expertise in SEO, particularly in on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO, as well as content and user experience (UX) optimization.
• AI & GEO Mindset: You are passionate about AI tools, AI-powered search, and emerging technologies. You bring your own use cases and actively engage with topics such as Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Search Experience, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Analytical Thinking: You have a data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and enjoy translating insights and metrics into actionable optimization measures.
• Communication Skills: You enjoy collaborating with clients and colleagues and communicate confidently in both German and English.
• Passion for the Industry: You are enthusiastic about the hospitality and tourism sector and can easily relate to our clients, their challenges, and their projects.
• Hands-On Mentality: You enjoy taking initiative, thinking proactively, and actively contributing to projects and team success.
