Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated tests using a BDD-based automation framework.
• Configure, manage, and maintain test environments to support both automation and functional testing activities.
• Ensure automated test scripts are stable, reusable, and effective across all generated customer communication documents.
• Perform business rule validation for generated insurance documents.
• Maintain detailed bug reports, delivery notes, and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to peer reviews of test cases and actively participate in review meetings and walkthrough sessions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide regular status updates on test progress and risks.

Required SkillsCore Automation & Technical Expertise

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Testing Specialist (mandatory).
• Hands-on experience in test automation, with proficiency in tools such as Ruby/Cucumber and Selenium (mandatory).
• Strong expertise in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks, particularly Cucumber (mandatory).
• Practical experience with at least one programming language, such as Java, Ruby, TypeScript or Python (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of version control systems such as Git, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or similar.

Integration & Methodology

• Solid experience in API testing using tools like SoapUI or Postman, including working with and validating complex XML structures.
• Good understanding of context-based and risk-based testing approaches for complex business applications.
• Experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence for test planning, execution, and defect tracking.

Leadership & Delivery

• Proven track record of working on large-scale, enterprise-wide technology platforms.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior to mid-level testers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
