Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a QA Engineer to design and execute manual tests and develop automated tests for backend and API functionality. You will collaborate with developers, participate in Agile ceremonies, and ensure test coverage across hybrid environments.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of testing experience, strong Java-based automation skills (Rest Assured, JUnit, Maven), Jenkins, Git, and exposure to Playwright or Selenium. English proficiency is required.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of manual testing experience with strong backend and API testing skills.
• Experience designing, executing, and maintaining test cases and test plans.
• Solid understanding of test design techniques and requirements analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Java-based test automation (Java, Rest Assured, JUnit, Maven) in Spring-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins.
• Strong defect investigation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams within hybrid manual/automation environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Proactive and delivery-focused mindset.
• Upper-Intermediate English level.
• Experience with Playwright (Java) or Selenium (Desirable).
• Experience with Cucumber for legacy API tests (Desirable).
• Exposure to AWS environments (Desirable).
• Software development background (Desirable).
• Experience in the Point-of-Sale (POS) domain (Desirable).
