Zusammenfassung

Quest Global Germany is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for desktop, web, and backend applications. You will implement automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

The ideal candidate has 6-8 years in software test automation, strong programming skills (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript), and experience with UI/API testing, DevOps concepts, and Agile/Scrum.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, C# or JavaScript.
• Experience supporting software verification activities within regulated medical device environments.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Experience with UI, API, and integration test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience using version control systems.
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automated build processes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• German language proficiency

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for desktop, web, and backend applications.
• Develop automated functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
• Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product teams to define automation strategies and improve software quality.
• Design and implement reusable automation libraries and utilities following software engineering best practices.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Review product requirements and technical specifications to identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the automation framework.
• Support build, deployment, and automation activities through basic DevOps practices.
• Ensure automation solutions are maintainable, scalable, and aligned with software design principles.
