Jobtailor is seeking a detail-focused content specialist to draft, edit, and finalize technology sections of RFP narratives in collaboration with proposal writers and subject matter experts. You will maintain and update the technology boilerplate library, ensuring content reflects current product capabilities, system requirements, and data security practices.

• 3+ years of experience in a K-12 education or publishing environment.
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of K-12 edtech product categories (LMS, SIS, assessment platforms).
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering notes.
• Strong collaboration and deadline-driven skills.

• Draft, edit, and finalize assigned technology sections of RFP narratives with proposal writers and subject matter experts
• Support the Technology Content Manager in maintaining and updating the technology boilerplate library
• Ensure content reflects current product capabilities, system requirements, and data security practices
• Collaborate with Product, IT, Legal, Infosec, and other stakeholders to gather accurate technical information
• Support ad hoc research requests related to state technology requirements, accessibility standards, and data privacy provisions
• Assist with quality checks on final proposal documents
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience, preferably in a K-12 education/publishing environment
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of K-12 edtech product categories, including LMS, SIS, assessment platforms, and instructional software
• Ability to read and interpret technical product documentation, release notes, or specifications from engineering/product teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond to multiple constituencies, and meet established deadlines
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively across teams with competing needs
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency with Claude, Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, and other standard business applications
