Job Overview
Develop customer, installer, partner and internal TE competence through high-quality technical training, certification and scalable learning solutions across EMEA. The role combines senior technical expertise, practical delivery, curriculum ownership and certification discipline to support safe installation practices, product adoption and customer value.
Job Requirements
Training Delivery & Certification
- Design and deliver training at TE locations, combining classroom instruction, hands‑on installation exercises, digital and blended learning, and relevant industry trends for customers, installers, approved partners and TE personnel.
- Provide technical mentoring, onboarding support and knowledge transfer to trainers, Training Center personnel, FTS and Technical Services.
- Increase customer and installer competence and satisfaction through high-quality classroom and hands‑on training delivered at TE locations and through standardized certification practices
Curriculum & Learning Solutions
- Own and continuously improve curricula, certification content, course structures and technical learning materials
- Develop new training offerings, certification pathways and digital learning assets based on business needs, customer requirements and competence gaps based on marked demand and strategy
- Keep content technically accurate, current, practical, user‑friendly and aligned with approved technical guidance
Certification & Competence Management
- Manage certification issuance, validity, expiry tracking, recertification requirements and competence maintenance.
- Maintain ownership of the designated certification repository and ensure certification records and documentation are accurate, compliant and audit‑ready
- Monitor certification quality, expiry dates and communicate status and follow‑up requirements proactively to relevant stakeholders
Training Center Operations & Portfolio Execution
- Plan and optimize the training portfolio within agreed business priorities, customer demand and available capacity
- Execute the Training Center calendar and delivery plan, coordinating facilities, equipment, tools, materials, logistics and resource readiness
Customer, Partner & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Manage technical training requirements across EMEA and act as a trusted advisor on training, certification and installer competence
- Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Services, FTS, Engineering, Sales, Quality/EHS, Finance, Legal and within Professional Services
Continuous Improvement
- Improve delivery methods, participant experience, certification processes and operational efficiency using data and stakeholder feedback.
- Ensure regional standardization, execution discipline and compliance with applicable global training, certification, quality and EHS governance
- Identify opportunities to strengthen customer value, portfolio effectiveness and long‑term Training Center scalability
What your background should look like
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technical Education, Business, Operations or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong experience in technical training, technical services, field/application support, installation competence or certification programs in a customer-facing environment.
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective classroom, practical, digital and blended learning.
- Experience working with installers, utilities, EPCs, industrial customers or approved training partners; TE product knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to manage schedules, readiness, learning content, tools, certification records and operational reporting with strong execution discipline.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and mentor without formal authority.
- High ownership, responsiveness, accountability and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Curiosity to use AI, automation and digital technology to improve learning content and operational efficiency
- Very good English and German knowledge
