TE Connectivity in Bensheim, Germany, seeks a Sr. R&D/Product DvL Engineer (m/w/d) to lead development and validation within the Industrial & Commercial Transportation portfolio, interfacing with global engineering teams and customers.

You will drive product robustness, coordinate DVP&R, manage tests, and support industrialization and documentation across the full lifecycle, fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement. Strong English skills are required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics)
• Several years of experience in R&D, product development, or validation, ideally in automotive or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of product development processes from concept to release
• Experience in validation, test coordination, and analysis of results
• Knowledge of common engineering methods (DVP&R, FMEA, RCA, Change Management)
• Experience in international, cross-functional projects
• Very good English skills; German is a plus
• Experience with connector systems or electromechanical products
• Knowledge of relevant standards in the transportation environment
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, as well as CAD, PLM, and ERP systems
• Experience working with customers and handling technical escalations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Overview

This role supports the development and validation of products within the Industrial & Commercial Transportation portfolio. You act as a key interface to global engineering teams, laboratories, customers, and manufacturing sites, contributing to successful product launches, technical problem-solving, and process standardization initiatives. Job Requirements

Product Development & Engineering
