Job summary

BYD Automotive GmbH in Germany seeks an experienced Level 1 Technical Support Specialist for after-sales and warranty support in the EV sector. You will manage dealer tickets, support field engineers, and assist with product launches and trainings, ensuring top customer satisfaction across regions.

The role requires 7+ years in automotive/e-mobility, strong communication in German and English, solid PowerPoint skills, and a valid EU driver's license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the level 1 technical support and warranty process (as back up) support to the network. That includes managing technical dealer tickets, sometimes trouble shooting on site, including process training, to ensure best in class customer satisfactionPlanning and organizing regular dealer visits, meetings, workshops, and other activities with regional partners.
• Be responsible for the after-sales projects development, execution, and assessment.
• Work closely together with the level 2 field engineers and the level 2 warranty expert
• Create and hold online training sessions when necessary and support creation of e-learnings and or webinars and tutorial videos
• Work closely together with the quality department and R&D department
• Ensure on site support during product launches, fairs and other events where product support is required. Also, secure AS support for insurance rating projects is part of the responsibility
• Perform technical pre approvals
• Continuously analyse tickets and trouble shooting to identify quality issues and identify the best resolution methods

Qualifications:

• Strong automotive technical background including all required certificates to work on HV systems7+ years of experience in a similar role in automotive/ E-mobility within importer or OEM.
• Organized with communication skills and an understanding of differences between countries, cultures, regulations. Self-learning, the ability to discover and solve problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German language and English is a must.
• High-level attention to details, time management and accuracy.
• Proficient PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• Must hold a valid driver license for EU and candidates must be eligible to work in Europe.
