Akamai Technologies GmbH seeks a Senior Technical Solution Architect to shape AI inference and GPU solutions for premier customers. You will align with Sales to define Akamai AI Inference and GPU offerings and architect new projects for industry leaders.

You’ll lead solution and product innovation, evangelize use cases, and influence roadmaps while building technical thought leadership in Akamai AI inference and GPU offerings to drive growth. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in customer-facing technical roles with public cloud (Hyperscale or Neo Cloud).
• Multiple certifications from AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience designing multi-tier distributed architectures across cloud-native, hybrid, and multi-cloud.
• Experience with open source software across load balancing, web services, databases, CI/CD, and observability.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization.
• Experience architecting GPU/AI workloads and GPU clusters.
• Familiarity with CLI tools and automation (Ansible, Terraform).
• Fluent in German and English.

You’ll play an integral part in the sales lifecycle, supporting Sales in defining Akamai AI Inference and GPU solutions. You’ll architect new and custom projects with some of the worlds most innovative companies.

As a Senior Technical Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have experience working in a customer facing technical role with a public cloud either Hyperscale or Neo Cloud
• Possess multiple certifications from AWS/GCP/Azure.
• Demonstrate experience designing, developing, or maintaining multi-tier distributed application architectures including cloud-native, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud.
• Demonstrate experience designing/developing/maintaining solutions leveraging open source/core software across load balancing, web services, databases, CI/CD, and observability.
• Demonstrate experience with Kubernetes and related containerization technologies, i.e. registries, container runtimes, container networking, and container storage.
• Demonstrate experience architecting complex GPU and AI workloads, including GPU clusters, for model training and execution.
• Demonstrate cloud basics across CLI tools, SDKs, and automation tools like Ansible, Salt, and Terraform.
• Be fluent in both German and English languages
