Akamai Technologies in Germany is seeking a Senior Technical Solution Architect to drive AI inference and GPU solutions across the sales lifecycle. You will architect new and custom projects, support large strategic GPU and AI inference initiatives, and help shape Akamai's cloud-based AI offerings.

Qualifikationen

• Customer-facing technical role experience with public cloud.
• Multiple AWS, GCP or Azure certifications.
• Experience in multi-tier distributed architectures, cloud-native and multi-cloud.
• Experience with open source software across load balancers, web services, databases, CI/CD, observability.
• Kubernetes and related containerization technologies.
• Experience architecting GPU/AI workloads and large GPU clusters.
• Cloud CLI tools, SDKs and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt and Terraform.
• Fluent in German and English.

Job Description

Join the Global GPU Strategic Pursuits team. Akamai is building an innovative inference cloud that will change the way people and AI agents do their work. As a Senior Technical Solution Architect, you will play an integral part in the sales lifecycle, supporting Sales in defining Akamai AI Inference and GPU solutions.

You will architect new and custom projects with some of the world’s most innovative companies, supporting Akamai Large Strategic GPU and AI inference projects, driving new customer acquisition, supporting sales and marketing go-to-market initiatives, leading solution and product innovation initiatives, building technical thought‑leadership in Akamai AI inference and GPU offerings, and designing large GPU clusters to meet customer AI inference and training needs.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Akamai Large Strategic GPU and AI inference projects.
• Driving new customer acquisition, supporting sales and marketing go-to-market initiatives with direct customer engagement.
• Leading solution and product innovation initiatives; evangelizing local use cases and technology trends and influencing the product roadmap.
• Building technical thought‑leadership in Akamai AI inference and GPU offerings to support overall Akamai business growth.
• Designing large GPU clusters to meet customer AI inference and training needs.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a customer‑facing technical role with a public cloud (either hyperscale or Neo Cloud).
• Multiple certifications from AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Experience designing, developing, or maintaining multi‑tier distributed application architectures, including cloud‑native, hybrid cloud and multi‑cloud.
• Experience designing or developing solutions leveraging open source or core software across load balancing, web services, databases, CI/CD and observability.
• Experience with Kubernetes and related containerization technologies (registries, container runtimes, container networking and container storage).
• Experience architecting complex GPU and AI workloads, including GPU clusters for model training and execution.
• Experience with cloud basics across CLI tools, SDKs and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt and Terraform.
• Fluent in both German and English.
