Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a senior PMO/Strategy Lead within the Computational Innovation (CI) function. You will connect global PMO activities with the Chief of Staff/Head of PMO and senior leaders, aligning strategic priorities and ensuring timely execution across scientific, operational and business domains.

The role features a hybrid setup with approximately 2-3 days on-site in Germany, and a focus on delivering structured, decision-ready insights to accelerate CI initiatives.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of strategy consulting or a comparable strategic role.

As part of CI’s PMO group, you will play a key role in connecting global PMO activities and supporting the Chief of Staff/Head of PMO and global Head with aligned insights and coordinated follow‑through. Engaging with scientific, business and operational stakeholders, you will help ensure that CI’s most relevant long‑term and short‑notice priorities move forward with structure, clarity and momentum.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in life sciences, biomedicine, computational biology or similar
• Several years of experience in strategy consulting or a comparable strategic role with exposure to senior‑level decision‑making in pharma R&D or adjacent environments
• Strong ability to structure ambiguity, maintain cross‑topic overviews, and bring clarity to multi‑stakeholder environments
• Outstanding executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complexity into clear, decision‑oriented narratives
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills, with comfort making sound recommendations even with incomplete information
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
