Objectway seeks a Senior Developer Cobol (m/f/d) for its Development Team in Germany. The position offers on-site work in Ebersberg with the option of mobile working after the induction period.

You will lead development, maintenance and enhancement of software products, create technical concepts and ensure quality through automated tests. Required are a CS degree or equivalent experience, strong Cobol programming skills, banking domain understanding, Linux/Windows proficiency, and fluent German

• Collaboration in the technical specification and creation of specialised concepts
• Adaption of existing software to a constantly changing environment

Required Skills:

• Degree in computer science and/or relevant professional experience in a comparable position
• Proven experience in programming with Cobol
• Understanding of securities business, payment transactions or credit business in a banking environment
• Confident handling of Linux, Windows systems
• Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Independent and self-reliant way of working and ability to work in a team
• Fluent written and spoken German and good English skills
