Job summary

Avvale in Germany seeks a Senior SAP Manager / Practice Lead to drive SAP capabilities and growth across the German market. You will lead the strategic development of Avvale's SAP Practice, oversee SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, and mentor the local Operations team.

You will engage with senior client stakeholders, shape end-to-end SAP solutions in SD/MM/PP, support pre-sales, and help expand our SAP portfolio while coordinating across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of working experience in delivering SAP Solutions.
• Experience in green field projects, rollouts and S/4hana and system conversions.
• Expertise in at least one of SD, MM or PP/Manufacturing modules with end-to-end Supply Chain knowledge.
• Leadership experience in a team/practice setting.
• Proficiency in German and English.
• Structured, precise and proactive way of working.
• Flexible, open-minded, and communicative with strong teamwork.

To strategically expand our SAP consulting portfolio in Germany and support our clients in complex digital transformation initiatives, we are looking for a Senior SAP Manager / Practice Lead (m/f/d) who combines extensive SAP expertise with strategic vision, strong leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the strategic development and growth of Avvale's SAP Practice in Germany.
• Driving SAP S/4HANA transformation projects, with a particular focus on Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and/or Production Planning (PP).
• Supporting clients in designing and implementing innovative, scalable, and future-proof SAP solutions.
• Expanding and continuously enhancing our SAP consulting portfolio in line with market trends and client needs.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
• Contributing to Avvale's long-term business strategy and strengthening our position in the German market.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the local SAP Operations team, strengthening its capabilities and providing senior-level oversight of projects.
• Coordinating and aligning client business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Supporting pre-sales activities, including client workshops, solution design, effort estimations, and proposal development.
• 10+ years of working experience in delivering SAP Solutions;
• Experience in green field projects, rollouts and S/4hana and system conversation;
• A strong expertise in at least one of SD, MM or PP/Manufacturing modules, combined with broader end-to-end Supply Chain knowledge, would be ideal.
• Experience in team/practice leadership;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in large teams and ability to interact confidently with senior customer stakeholders, including international ones;
• Experience in SAP consulting company and exposure to the German mid-market/manufacturing sector would be highly preferred;
• Proficient in German and in English;
• Structured and extremely precise way of working;
• Flexible, open-minded and team player with strong communication skills;
• Availability to travel.
