Job summary

IgniteSAP in Germany is seeking an experienced SAP Program or Project Manager to lead large SAP implementations and integrations, focusing on S/4HANA, and to bridge the gap between business units and IT.

You will guide bid teams, manage multi-year projects, mentor staff, and build strong client relationships with top banks and insurers. Fluent German and English are required; expect a dynamic, performance-driven culture with extensive training and European mobility.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in (multi-) project management, primarily in the area of SAP solutions and technologies; knowledge of the business of an IT service provider.
• Several years of experience in leading project teams with more than 25 employees; knowledge of motivating employees in all phases of a project.
• Experience in early recognition of critical project situations and structured approach to problem solving.
• Confidence in dealing with and communicating at decision-making level.
• Vision and recognition of new business potential; initiative to develop further growth.
• Must be Fluent in German and English.

• Leading the bid team before the start of the project and negotiating with the clients.
• Planning, execution and control of large SAP implementation and integration projects.
• Leading large project teams in complex projects with demanding customers.
• Analysis of project-critical situations and identification of appropriate measures in the course of project turnaround management.
• Building and maintaining partnership-based customer relationships with the aim of high customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty.
• Supporting project managers through training and coaching.
