Hybrid work in Berlin with a fast-paced, independent project-based environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on recruiting experience, strong sourcing skills for passive candidates, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on recruiting experience with startups transitioning to scale-ups.
• Extensive experience as a freelancer, contractor, or temporary staff on high-volume, high-impact projects.
• Proven ability to proactively source and attract passive candidates for growth-critical roles.
• Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Strong understanding of industry trends and competitive landscapes.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Languages: Fluent English mandatory; German recommended but not required.
• Berlin-based with hybrid work flexibility.

We are seeking anexperienced temporary Senior Recruiterto join us for a high-impact 3-6 month contract. This critical, hands-on role is focused on driving our rapid scaling efforts. We need a proven talent acquisition expert who has specifically helped startups transition into scale-ups, bringing immediate market intelligence and a track record of hiring pivotal growth-focused roles. This is a project-based role requiring independent management of the recruitment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Scale-Up Recruitment:Independently manage the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles critical to our growth, focusing on volume and quality to support our transition from startup to scale-up.

• Direct Sourcing:Proactively identify and engage high-caliber passive candidates using headhunting, networking, and expert sourcing techniques.

• Strategic Partner:Quickly collaborate with hiring managers to understand critical business needs and implement immediate, tailored recruitment strategies for accelerated growth.

• Market Intelligence:Provide up-to-date market trends and competitor intelligence to ensure our short-term hiring strategies are competitive and effective.

• Candidate Experience:Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring an outstanding and professional experience that reflects our company values, even within an accelerated process.

• ATS Management:Efficiently utilize our applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage a high volume of candidates and ensure a data-driven process.

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on recruiting experience, with a proven focus on helpingstartups transition to scale-upenvironments through strategic hiring.

• Extensive experience working as afreelancer, contractor, or temporary staffon high-volume, high-impact projects.

• Demonstrated expertise in proactively sourcing and attracting passive candidates for growth-critical roles.

• Proven ability to independently manage the end-to-end recruitment process.

• Strong understanding of industry trends and competitive landscapes.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

• Languages: Fluent English is mandatory. German proficiency is recommended but not required.

• Location: Berlin-based, with flexibility for hybrid work.
