Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a skilled professional to lead product development initiatives in an international environment. You will work on innovative formulations, evaluate raw materials, and bring ideas from concept through production readiness.

You will collaborate across teams, apply digital and data-driven methods, and contribute to optimizing processes with a strong communication and hands-on mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Technology, Nutritional Science, Food Science or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in product development or application technology within the food industry.
• In-depth knowledge of raw materials and food additives; experience with emulsion and dispersion systems is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of production processes and process engineering principles.
• Affinity for digital technologies and motivation to integrate new AI tools and data-driven methods into existing workflows.
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
• Strong team spirit, excellent communication skills and a high degree of initiative.
• Hands-on mentality.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills; additional language skills, particularly French or Italian, are a plus.
