Job summary

Freudenberg FST GmbH in Germany seeks a experienced production leader to oversee disciplinary and functional leadership, ensure smooth production operations, and hit safety, quality and financial targets.

You will drive productivity projects with process engineering, product development and marketing, manage investment planning, and maintain HSE standards while communicating directly with customers. Fluency in English and SAP/MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering with additional business qualifications, or a comparable qualification

Responsibilities:

• Disciplinary and functional leadership of the assigned personnel, ensuring the required qualifications
• Ensuring smooth production operations, including production resource planning
• Responsibility for achieving the production, quality, and financial targets of the business unit
• Initiating, prioritizing, steering, and monitoring optimization processes (productivity projects) in close collaboration with process engineering, product development, and product marketing

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering with additional business qualifications, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in plastics and silicone processing, as well as knowledge of the specific requirements of the automotive industry
• Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean training (preferably Black Belt)
• Experience in project management and ideally initial leadership experience
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP, as well as strong English language skills
• High level of commitment, flexibility, and a goal-oriented, independent way of working
• Strong team orientation and solid conflict management skills
