g2 Recruitment is seeking a Freelance Senior Project Manager for utility-scale solar PV and hybrid BESS projects across Germany and Poland. The role is based in Frankfurt with office 3x per week and remote 2x per week, requiring a strong background in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering and substantial PM experience in renewables.

You will oversee a 1.2GW pipeline, coordinate multi-discipline teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, compliance and timely delivery while aligning

You will be required in the office 3x/ week in Frankfurt, and work remotely 2x/ week. Having previously worked with 50 Hertz, or Mitnetz is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Operational control over a pipeline of 1.2GW.
• Coordinating civil, mechanical and electrical workstreams, ensuring alignment with design, project plans and client requirements.
• Managing subcontractors, ensuring safe, compliant and timely installation of all components and infrastructure.
• Negotiating Grid FCA's.
• Ensuring all works comply with HSE requirements, project specifications and contractual obligations.

Requirements to be considered

• Qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• High degree of organisation - Financial management.
• Solution orientated - Solving issues with Sub-Contractors, should they arise.
• Right to work in EU.
