g2 Recruitment seeks a Freelance EPC Project Manager to lead a 150MW Solar PV and 100MWh BESS project in Northern Germany. Based in Hamburg, you will drive project execution through construction and commissioning on a long-term freelance assignment.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and grid connection, while managing owner and subcontractor relationships and ensuring HSE compliance.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years' experience managing large-scale renewable energy EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of German construction practices and EPC contracts.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary on-site teams and subcontractors.
• Fluent in English; German language skills advantageous.

We are supporting a leading EPC contractor in the delivery of a 150MW Solar PV and 100MWh Battery Energy Storage (BESS) project in Northern Germany and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead project execution through construction and commissioning. This is the opportunity to work on a long‑term freelance assignment on a flagship renewable energy project.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for EPC project delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are achieved.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and grid connection activities.
• Manage relationships with the project owner, subcontractors, local authorities, and grid operators.
• Oversee HSE performance and ensure compliance with German regulations and site standards.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience managing large-scale renewable energy EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of German construction practices, EPC contracts, and project controls.
