ASP Equipment GmbH in Salem-Neufrach is seeking a Project Buyer – Electronics & EEE Components (m/f/d) to independently manage procurement of electrical, electronic and electromechanical components for development and flight models.

You will prepare RFQs, negotiate with national and international suppliers, and monitor cost, quality and schedule while collaborating with Engineering, Product Assurance and Project Management teams. Fluency in German and English is required.

Qualificações

• Must have a strong track record in technical procurement or supply chain management in a technology-driven environment.
• Experience with electronic components, PCBs or EEE components is preferred.
• Knowledge of space, aerospace or defense-related standards and quality requirements is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage the procurement of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) components for development, qualification and flight models.
• Prepare and issue requests for quotation (RFQs) and conduct commercial, pricing and contractual negotiations with national and international suppliers
• Manage and monitor procurement activities on a project basis with regard to cost, quality and schedule objectives
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Assurance, Configuration Management and Project Management teams
• Select, evaluate and develop suppliers in accordance with space industry requirements and project needs
• Support obsolescence management activities, component substitutions and long-lead item procurement
• Review and assess technical specifications, datasheets and procurement requirements
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and manage escalations related to schedule delays or quality issues
• Maintain and continuously improve supplier and procurement data within the ERP system.

• Successfully completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in technical procurement, project procurement or supply chain management within a technology-driven industry
• Ideally, experience with electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), electronic assemblies or EEE components
• Knowledge of space, aerospace or defense-related standards and quality requirements would be an advantage
• Solid technical understanding of electronic systems and development projects
• Strong communication and negotiation skills when working with international suppliers
• Structured, self-driven and solution-oriented working style
• Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
