Huz is seeking a (Senior) Expert Procurement Electronics to lead procurement for electronics components and assemblies, with a deep market view and supplier risk management. You will drive transparency across supply chains, map Tier N dependencies, and develop robust sourcing strategies.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering or business administration.
• Several years in electronics procurement or semiconductor sourcing.
• Deep knowledge of semiconductors, EMS, PCBAs and control units.
• Proven success in managing shortages and allocations.
• Strong Tier N transparency and supply‑chain risk management.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing or automotive sectors.
• Fluent German and English.

(SENIOR) EXPERT PROCUREMENT ELECTRONICS
Start anytime, permanent position, often at our clients during the week, and typically on Fridays at our offices in Munich, Cologne, or Hamburg.

Your mission

• You assess current supply risks and vulnerabilities in critical electronics categories
• With your understanding of complex supply chains, you create transparency beyond Tier 1 suppliers and identify relevant Tier N dependencies
• You support the safeguarding of supply continuity by developing and implementing concrete measures, and you contribute your expertise effectively in critical negotiations and supplier situations
• You identify, evaluate, and introduce alternative sourcing strategies and suitable supplier options
• You continuously monitor market developments in the semiconductor and electronics environment and derive relevant implications for the supply situation
• To strengthen supply chain resilience and risk management, you define a clear roadmap and actively share your knowledge and proven best practices with the existing procurement team

Your profile

• A completed master's degree from a renowned university, ideally in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration
• Several years of experience in electronics procurement or semiconductor sourcing
• In-depth market knowledge in semiconductors, electronic components, EMS, PCBAs, and control units
• Proven success in managing shortages
• Experience with allocation situations and supply disruptions
• A strong understanding of Tier N transparency and supply chain risk management
• Experience in industrial manufacturing, the automotive industry, or comparable sectors
• The ability to combine strategic analysis with implementation-oriented execution
• Creative problem-solving skills
• A strong proficiency in German and English rounds off your profile
