Y-Axis is seeking a Procurement Manager / Buyer (m/f/d) for our Berlin-based role with remote work options. The position involves purchasing, contract negotiation, and international sourcing for various projects; immediate start with a December expiry window and an international project focus.

Ideal candidates will have commercial training or relevant technical training with commercial exposure, plus experience in purchasing and materials management, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Completion of commercial training (e.g., industrial clerk) or technical training with commercial focus.
• Experience in purchasing, materials management, or supply chain management.
• Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Responsabilités

• Procure materials and subcontractor services timely and based on needs.
• Lead contract, price, and award negotiations and monitor outcomes.
• Source nationally and internationally; prepare price comparisons and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Analyze and monitor project-related ordering and delivery processes.
• Handle complaints and clarify technical questions, presenting suitable alternatives.

• Responsible execution and monitoring of contract, price, and award negotiations
• National and international sourcing, creation of price comparisons, total cost of ownership (TCO)

Your profile

• Completed commercial training (e.g., industrial clerk (m/f/d) or similar) or alternatively, technical training (e.g., metalworker (m/f/d)) with relevant commercial training
• Professional experience in purchasing, materials management, or supply chain management
• Sense of responsibility and a team-oriented personality
• Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and diplomatic tact
• Good written and spoken English skills
