Unzer, a leading European fintech, is seeking a Product Manager for traditional POS to own the commercial and operational product experience of our payment terminal business in Berlin.

You will coordinate with Sales, Onboarding, and Strategy, drive the product roadmap, measure impact with KPIs, and ensure timely delivery with cross‑functional teams.

Fluent German and English are required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in Tech, ideally in Payments Hardware or related field.
• Experience coordinating with Sales, Onboarding, and Strategy to translate field insights into product improvements.
• Data-driven with ability to define KPIs and measure impact.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent in German and English.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Unzer's POS department is the commercial engine connecting Unzer's terminal technology to merchants across Europe - spanning Field & Inside Sales, Merchant Services, Onboarding, Technical Support, and Sales Strategy. As Product Manager for traditional POS, you'll own the commercial and operational product experience around our point-of-sale payment terminal business. You'll work at the intersection of external vendors, Sales, Key Account Management, Onboarding, and Strategy to turn field insights into product and process improvements that make a real difference to merchants, vendors, and to the teams who support them.

What your work will look like:

• Own the Product Roadmap & its Delivery: Build and execute the product roadmap for one or more product areas, ensuring on-time delivery of features and improvements that support business objectives.
• Business Impact & Prioritization Ownership: Co-own prioritization and business impact of product initiatives, focusing on revenue growth and cost efficiency.
• KPI Definition & Performance Tracking: Define and track KPIs across multiple product areas to measure product success and drive continuous improvement in alignment with Unzer's strategic goals.
• Drive Cross-functional Initiatives: Lead cross-team collaboration by influencing critical operational decisions, managing resources, and facilitating effective execution of major product initiatives.
• Facilitate collaboration: Build effective relationships with internal colleagues and external partners to gather requirements, communicate priorities, and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Resource Allocation and Performance Management: Oversee allocation and effective use of resources within your domain, monitoring project progress, mitigating risks, and driving performance to meet technical and group objectives.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• 5+ years product management experience in Tech, ideally in Payments Hardware - a plus if gained within a financially regulated company.
• You have robust experience planning and executing product initiatives while establishing milestones to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
• You are data driven and solving complex problems by identifying the best path to deliver value faster comes naturally to you.
• You facilitate cross-functional collaboration between teams and build strong relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• You communicate with impact, clearly conveying complex ideas to varied audiences, leading discussions, building consensus, and influencing key decisions.
• You bring creativity and a continuous improvement mindset, delivering innovative solutions and leading product or process enhancements.
• You demonstrate leadership and adaptability by guiding teams through change, embracing new technologies and AI practices, and maintaining high professional standards.
• Fluent in German and English
