Senior Product Analytics Engineer

Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer to partner with product and design, shaping roadmaps and feature scoping through data.

You will own instrumentation, build dbt models, create dashboards, and surface insights to guide engagement, activation, and retention decisions at scale. You will collaborate with engineers and analytics teams on data quality and standards, and communicate results clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in analytics engineering or closely related data role.
• Experience at a consumer-facing company.
• Startup experience.
• Strong SQL and dbt skills.
• Hands-on Mixpanel experience with working with engineers to define and implement event tracking.
• Proven track record of working directly with product managers and designers as a data partner.
• Experience with funnel analysis, cohort analysis, and retention modeling.
• Experience with BigQuery, dbt, Stitch, and Hex, or a similar stack.
• Ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High ownership mindset.
• Comfortable using AI tools to move faster.
• Experience designing or supporting A/B tests and interpreting experiment results.
• Must be located in the United States; Novellia cannot sponsor employment visas.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the dedicated data partner for product and product design, joining roadmap planning and weighing in on feature scoping.
• Own product analytics instrumentation by auditing tracking, identifying gaps, and working with engineers to close them.
• Build and maintain dbt models for product, growth, and operational reporting.
• Design and maintain dashboards and self-serve tools for PMs and leadership.
• Drive understanding of engagement, retention, and activation and surface insights for product decisions.
• Identify leading indicators of product-market fit and track them over time.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines across the data warehouse for product and user data.
• Collaborate with analytics engineers responsible for clinical and research data on shared infrastructure and standards.
• Surface product and growth data-quality issues and establish trustworthy data standards.
• Report directly to the Manager, Data and Analytics as a senior individual contributor.
