Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced data professional to own analytics end-to-end from warehouse to BI delivery in Berlin. You will model company data with dbt on Redshift, build KPI dashboards in Lightdash, and provide self-serve analytics across teams.

The role requires deep SQL, strong dbt skills, and a track record of metric ownership. You will maintain ingestion via Fivetran and collaborate closely with engineering to scale data governance.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years owning analytics from the warehouse onwards (modelling, reporting, BI) in production.
• Experience as an early or founding data hire is a plus.
• Deep SQL knowledge and data modeling experience.
• Strong dbt skills, layered models, tests, CI, semantic/metric layers.
• Production experience with a cloud data warehouse (Redshift ideal).
• Experience with a BI tool used by teams.

• Own voize's company data from the warehouse to the dashboards
• Model company data in dbt on Redshift using layered, tested, and documented models
• Build and operate the company KPI dashboard in Lightdash
• Provide self-serve analytics for every team
• Own metric modeling and propose company-wide metric definitions
• Ensure metrics are defensible, with sign-off from data leadership
• Maintain the ingestion layer, including Fivetran connectors and existing ETL jobs
• Coordinate closely with engineering
• Translate ambiguous business questions from Finance, RevOps, Product, and Customer Success into trusted, self-serve answers
• Shape the data foundation, standards, and architecture as the Data & AI function scales
• Ensure data supporting voize and its AI layer is reliable, safe, and scalable

Requirements

• 4+ years owning analytics from the warehouse onwards (modelling, reporting, BI) in production
• Experience ideally as an early or founding data hire
• Deep SQL knowledge
• Strong dbt skills, including layered models, tests, CI, semantic / metric layers
• Experience with a cloud data warehouse in production; Redshift ideal, or Snowflake or BigQuery with willingness to switch
• Experience with a BI tool people actually use
• Business-facing autonomy and ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to propose and defend metric definitions
• Ability to document, test, and monitor by default
• Track record of leveraging AI, automating, and building workflows with AI
• Must be registered/living in Germany
• Legal right to work in Germany
• English at B2 (advanced) level or higher and comfort using it at work
• English resume required
