Job summary

Henkel in Düsseldorf seeks a skilled Process Engineer to sustain safety, quality and reliable delivery of high standards. You will own line KPIs like MTBF, drive loss elimination, and implement Henkel Lean standards (HPS) on your production line.

You should have a Master in Chemical/Process/Industrial Engineering and 5 years’ experience in process engineering, ideally in detergents or chemical manufacturing, with strong German and English communication.

Qualifications

• Master in Chemical, Process or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years in process engineering, ideally in detergent or chemical manufacturing.
• Process control, improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean) and production management.
• Experience leading process improvement projects.
• Familiarity with automation and digital manufacturing tools.

Responsibilities

• Be a strong role-model for safety, quality and delivery of high standards.
• Own KPIs of the line(s) or production process and drive loss elimination.
• Develop and implement standards with training and health checks.
• Apply Henkel Lean standards (HPS) in the line of responsibility.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best industry practices.
• Develop equipment owners on the line and grow toward plant leadership.

What you´ll do

• Strong role-model in safety, quality and ongoing delivery of the high standards
• Owns KPIs of the line(s) or production process: Op. Excellence, MTBF. Executes loss elimination to achieve the glidepath targets
• Develops and implements the standards including its training and health checks
• Implements Lean manufacturing according the Henkel standards (HPS) as a way of work in his/her line
• Strives for ongoing improvement: implementing of the best industry practices, Self and team development
• Develops equipment owners on his/her line(s)/production process
• Potential to develop in a plant leadership roles

What makes you a good fit

• Master in Chemical, Process or Industrial Engineering
• 5 years in process engineering, ideally in detergent or chemical manufacturing
• Process control, improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean) and production management
