Jobtailor in Germany seeks an experienced CGD engineer to lead Commercial Grade Dedication activities on AP1000 projects. You will ensure CGD items meet design, safety, and regulatory standards, and oversee procurement engineering across programs.

The role requires acting as Design Authority SME for CGD, evaluating critical characteristics, reviewing supplier procedures, and collaborating with EPCs and engineering teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Civil or related).
• 15+ years nuclear industry experience.
• CGD and procurement engineering expertise.
• Knowledge of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, nuclear QA, and EPRI CGD guidance.
• Experience reviewing or governing CGD programs.
• AP1000 or new build/EPC project experience.
• Design Authority or engineering oversight experience.
• NRC audit/inspection experience.
• PE license or advanced degree.
• Must meet applicable United States and comparable export control requirements where applicable.

• Ensure compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR Part 21, and EPRI guidance.
• Resolve technical gaps, risks, and nonconformances.
• Collaborate with suppliers, EPC partners, and engineering teams.
• Integrate CGD requirements into design, procurement, and construction processes.
• Develop guidance, training, and best practices.
• Report to the Manager of Operations.
